For more than thirty years, Sedrick L. Hamner has been preaching and teaching the Word of God to people of various ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. He shines His light to illuminate the path of righteousness for those in relationship with God as well as lead Unbelievers to the path of God.

Born and reared in Buffalo, NY, Pastor Hamner accepted his call to ministry in March 1987. His initial sermon titled “Real Love” set the tone for the subsequent messages he would preach throughout his years of ministry. It is Pastor Hamner’s belief that there is no greater love that humankind has ever known than the Love of God through the redeeming work of His Son Jesus Christ. His personal appreciation and faith in God’s love toward him has motivated and sustained Pastor Hamner throughout his tireless years of ministry.

May 29, 2013, marked the beginning of an amazing journey for Pastor Hamner as he received the call to serve as the Senior Pastor of Reset Church, formerly Emmaus Road Missionary Baptist Church, College Park, Georgia. Prior to accepting that call Pastor Hamner has served as Lead Servant of Greater Faith Church, New Bethesda Church, and Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. His wonderful covenant with God allowed him to matriculate through Butler University and the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC). Pastor Hamner has also successfully studied preaching at Oxford University, England.

Pastor Sedrick L Hamner was inducted into the Morehouse College, Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers in April 2009. Pastor Hamner established Walking Thru Life Ministries to expand the reach of his teaching and preaching ministries around the globe. Along with responsibilities to Emmaus Road Missionary Baptist Church and Walking Thru Life Ministries, Pastor Hamner also serves diligently several community, civic, and religious organizations and boards.
